Stewardship 2016 Opens Today

ExxonMobil Vice President Elissa Sterry kicked off Stewardship 2016 today with a keynote speech about the important contribution product stewards make to business objectives.

Sterry talked about the role that stewardship can play in new product development, finding new markets and creating competitive advantages. Following her keynote, a number of education sessions will elaborate on the same theme. Speakers will also talk about important updates to REACH regulations and potential revisions to TSCA.

A record number of attendees are convening in-person and online for the conference, which brings together professionals from over a dozen different industry sectors and throughout the value chain.

The conference includes a status update on GHS implementation in North America, with featured speaker Maureen Ruskin from OSHA’s Office of Chemical Hazards.
