May Day! May Day!
Product Stewards Must Discuss OSHA 2024 HCS!

RU aware the Preamble to OSHA's Amendments to the 1910.1200 HazCom Standard (HCS) cites "Product Stewardship programs" as foundational evidence of companies awareness or ability to identify the "known or reasonably anticipated uses" of their products. Let's huddle the ProStew braintrust and discuss classifying and communicating hazards that may occur during downstream uses of products.... including changes in their physical form, chemical reactions, and resulting chemicals generated. How does a PS know (or learn) if "Articles" are transformed into "pArticles" that present a "combustible dust" hazard.... or if a chemical product reacts during downstream end use(s). Come, learn and ask a few tough questions.... share practical approaches and some innovative solutions. (Facilitated by: Jon Hellerstein, CIH, CSP)
